Its such as you learn my thoughts! You seem to grasp a lot approximately this, such as you wrote the e book in it or something. I think that you just can do with a few percent to power the message home a little bit, however instead of that, this is great blog. A fantastic read. I will definitely be back.

It’s lovely to see this website. I am wondering how informed Canterburians are as to the depth of hydraulic fracking for natural gas in the region. For instance, Permit 52614 is less than 2kms from Peacock Springs and very close to several residential areas. This permit provides for exploration and the potential for drilling to occur. Fracking is a very controversial activity, having been banned in several countries and jurisdictions overseas, including France, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah and Texas, with moratoriums in New South Wales, South Africa and Quebec. Fracking has the potential to adversely and permanently contaminate the region’s water aquifers. The Government is reluctant to engage the public on the issue of any drilling operation in Canterbury and nationwide. They argue that best practice will ensure any spills or disasters are mitigating. Environment Minister Nic Smith was flummoxed when asked what the best practice was re ignite mining in Southland – this shows that the Govt simply has no idea of best practice is.

In addition Street Groups Limited is going to aggressively make new suburban lists available and we'll open a new Street Group in every street where we can find a leader.

The idea is to create a multi-layered web of lists and forums, and blogs that make the important information about the city flow like water to where it needs to go. A list or forum for every purpose.

http://www.streetgroups.co.nz/

So how can YOU help? We need hundreds of leaders, this week, not sometime in the future. The crisis is now, and there's a huge amount of work to do.
